This winter, we have been dreaming for snow days from school...and yet, after missing one more storm, still dreaming.
Here are a few pictures from one of the rare snowstorms in our area that measured between 16-18 inches. Our usual accumulation is more like 1-3 inches...and that is becoming more and more rare.
These pictures were from 2008--back when all three daughters were home (or at least home from college).
Amazing to look back on these pictures and the depth of snow this storm produced. I haven't seen white stuff like this since I was a young girl. To my childrens' delight, school was cancelled that day (or week)--It didn't take long before the girls had the horses ready for sledding. Our chances for big snow this year are probably over...maybe next winter...
