This past week was our Neosho County Fair. Our youngest daughter decided not to take any animals because of all our music travels, which made things quite different for us this year.
Her projects included Fine Arts--three sketches including the one above; Foods--a Lady Baltimore Cake, Pecan Pie, and Almond Braid Ring in top photo; Photography, and Reading--a short story.
She did well in all of them and received three Grand Champions and a Reserve Champion.
She sold her Pecan Pie at the 4-H Auction Monday night. This next year will be her last year in 4-H. Bittersweet times . . . What about you? Are you a 4-H family? When is your fair?
