Today is the last day of our County Fair. We've had hot temperatures and a storm and downpour that upset Saturday night's Ranch Rodeo, but even still our youngest daughter had a good project year. Here are a few pictures from our week at the fair:
Foods project - Chocolate Layer Cake & Rosemary Garlic Braid
Meat Goats
Bunny Quilt she made with her Grandma
Horse Project - Because of the heavy rain the night before, our horse show was pretty messed up, but they went ahead and had a few simplified riding events out on the grass.
Sunday we said good-bye to a well-loved pastor at our church. Pastor Stubenrouch and his wife accepted a new call in Ogollala, NE. Pastor John taught our two youngest daughters to play the guitar as well as helped me with pastoral questions for Seeds of Summer. He and his wife will be dearly missed.
Wishing you blessings on this new Journey.
