This past summer my family and I had the opportunity to experience our first Friday Night Jam Sessions in Cottonwood Falls when I launched my debut book there in June. My youngest daughter even joined in on the fun with her guitar, so it was extra special for me. What I liked most was the simplicity of the event--clean, fun entertainment with folks and musicians coming and going as the night progressed, not to mention the various instruments and music represented--it left such an impression on us. And I have to say, the catfish dinner served at the Emma Chase Cafe tasted so good! We can hardly wait to return--which we will one day soon.
